"Fitness has always been a part of my life and I love sharing my excitement for fitness and health with others. I decided to start Active Lab because I want to offer clients the best possible solution for their training needs in a clean and safe training environment. So many gyms today do not have a client focus and do not put programs together to make their clients successful. Active Lab clients are looking for something more than the impersonal gym - they're serious about their goals and whether they want help gaining muscle mass, losing weight, or want to train to run a marathon, we're here to help. Our personal trainers are highly focused, educated trainers that train for their living.  Seeing you succeed is not only my professional goal, but it's a personal mission for all Active Lab independent trainers.

I have always had a passion for fitness, but my first love wasn’t weights. I was running 20 plus miles a week striving for that ‘toned’ look that never seemed to take shape. Thankfully, I was educated and guided in the direction of weight training. Over the past four years, I have gone through my own lifestyle transformation. I have a personal passion for training education, specifically for women. I like to emphasize proper form and technique prior to adding any weight. My mission and goal is to see you succeed and meet your personal fitness goals; whether that is weight loss, inches lost, body transformation, etc. I always tell my clients I will become their go-to person when it comes to nutrition and fitness. I am here for you whenever you need. I can’t wait to begin this health & fitness journey with you!"

Kyle Bowers

Chronic hip pain, minor injuries and lack of mobility are what drove me to my personal training journey. My background in sports, passion for Crossfit, and obsession with moving better are what drive my training style. Sports taught me that I could push my body farther than I ever thought possible, however they did not teach me proper recovery techniques or exercises.  Taking control of my hip pain allowed me to live pain free for the first time in years. Things such as putting on socks and shoes were no longer difficult and overall my body felt younger, seeing first hand what a difference being able to manage pain and injuries made not only in the gym but in my life as well. I was excited and inspired to teach as many people as possible how they too could still hit personal goals in the gym while working on proper body alignment.


Wandy Santos Morales

I have been fascinated with the human body ever since I saw my first martial arts movie. I remember seeing them push the limits of what the body can do. Eventually, I decided that I too wanted to learn martial arts and got my blackbelt in Taekwondo. Shortly after, I joined the Marine Corps to continue to push myself to see what I could achieve. After that I decided to trek up to Mt. Everest Base Camp. So, I understand what it means to push yourself beyond what you think you are capable of. Whatever your fitness goals I would love to help you reach them. I want to help you build a strong fitness foundation and develop the confidence to crush your goals.

Struggling with weight problems from early childhood, I've made my mind up to change for the better - not only for myself, but for everyone around me. I know what it takes to make changes and know first-hand that it's not easy to make big changes in your life. I have more than 10 years of experience in the fitness industry and am confident I can help you get the results you want. My clients are males and females from 8 years old to 80 years old. I work with each client on an individual basis, focusing on achieving long-term results through challenging and constantly varied workouts. My intense approach, measureless energy and humor only add to the effectiveness of the experience."

Marc Mangan

"I am a strength coach and personal trainer. I began my journey through helping others with sports performance at Southern Illinois University and Haskell University. I've had the pleasure of working with and learning from many amazing coaches and trainers. I am an avid volleyball player, artist, and photographer on top of it. Oh and I'm a movie geek.

I've been through it all... I've been injured, I've taken several leaps in life and fallen hard. But every time something amazing has come from those ashes whether it be experience, relationships, or advancements financially. I believe that helping others is the only way to a fulfilling life. I feel that anyone and everyone are capable of following their dreams and making every part of them happen. Inaction leads to non-failure which leads to a lackluster life and sticking points. Our goal should be to avoid inaction.

I am a firm believer in failure as an asset. Growth follows failure and nothing in this world has been created without failure leading the way. In order to truly grow and evolve, we must take chances. These chances will either turn into a small failure and or a small win. It's in these small failures and wins that we soon created success. I provide functional personal training and performance training to my clients. I'm your support, your accelerator, and your friend."

Devyn Christian




I have been actively working in the health and fitness industry for nearly 10 years, during which time I’ve had the incredible opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients of various ages and in various stages of their health and fitness journey. I started my work in the fitness industry teaching different group fitness classes – everything from water aerobics to kickboxing! As a personal trainer I have worked with clients to help them achieve their goals in weight loss, sports performance, rehabilitation, and general strength training. Over the years I have learned a lot not only from my education but also from my personal experience as an athlete and a trainer and I design my workouts to be specific and customized to meet the unique goals of each client.

I knew that pursuing a career in health and fitness was my calling from a very young age; I have been ridiculously competitive my entire life and there is nothing better to me than the feeling of pushing myself through a tough workout. I began my personal training career to help others gain that love and appreciation for pushing past their limits and to feel more confident in and out of the gym. I find personal satisfaction in watching a client become empowered by the self confidence they develop from taking a more active and intentional approach towards enhancing their fitness and general well being.

My career as a chiropractor has given me a new perspective on exercise as a form of medicine. I fully believe that a body that moves well stays well and I incorporate functional training and mobility work into my sessions to ensure that my clients stay injury free! I specialize in quickly establishing rapport with my clients and work directly with each client to design a training or treatment plan that they can easily fit into their lifestyle. I consider myself to be my clients' biggest fan and I take great pride in helping people on their own journey towards better health. I look forward to meeting you to help motivate you to begin or to continue forward on your own journey towards better health!
